Wine is a Rosacea Trigger

Unfortunately a few people who love wine and alcohol find that sometimes it causes their face to flush slightly.  The worst cases are sometimes found in men who have slightly reddened nose.
If this 'flushing' or blushing happens repeatedly, then small blood vessels, typically in the face, become more visible. This is often a rosacea symptom, and rosacea is sometimes called the Curse of the Celts. Various countries (e.g. USA and Canada) have a rosacea awareness month, which is invariably the month of St Patricks day celebrations.

Wine for some people is called a rosacea trigger, it is best if treatment is sought sooner rather than later, and an effective treatment has been found to be IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and is a very effective treatment is available at the Pulselight Clinic in London. This clinic has a drupal website, coded by a drupal developer
