A Splash in Your Glass
There has always been something special about French wine, it has a style of its own, and is perceived quite differently from German, Italian, Chilean, English,South African or Australian.
France has a long history of growing grapes and making wine, unlike many other countries.
Perhaps that special something comes from variety. Each wine growing region produces wine with unique qualities.
Why? Or How?
Each region has its own soil type, micro-climate and variety of grape, which has evolved (with careful cultivation) to suit the region. Each region creates its own distinctive and individual wines
Whatever the type of wine that you suits your palate, there is a French wine to match, and a wine to suit every occasion and budget.
If you can add a review of a wine from a French region, please do so.
